Growing up Katie was always an artist at heart feverishly creating illustrations as a kid. However she was also curious to understand how the world worked and enjoyed subjects like math and science. Finding 3D animation allowed Katie to live in both the artistic and technological worlds. It was when she found herself getting as worked up as a sports fan while viewing 3D works she found inspiring that Katie knew she had found her passion for 3D animation. Katie is a 3D generalist but VFX will get her the most railed up.
