Art Practices
Amanda Begaye is predominately a mixed media painter working in assemblage, installation, digital and traditional media. She received her Associate of Arts from the Northwestern Community College of Rangley and obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Practices from the University of Colorado at Denver. Amanda has won awards from early in her career including statewide and regional art competitions. Through her creative work she was able to speak at the National Convention for the PEO’s Women’s Group and was the Assistant Curator for the Center for Arts Evergreen. Since then went on to be part of the First Inaugural Cohort in the Diversity in the Arts Program. Ms. Begaye is currently focused on her community involvement in the arts as she continues her creative practice.
