Art History
Gesina Marie Null is a senior with a 4.0 GPA working towards her BA in Art History, along with a minor in Photography from the University of Colorado Denver. Gesina initially studied photography at Colorado Mountain College and has worked extensively as a wedding photographer, starting her own business in 2016. This experience has provided Gesina with the opportunity to learn management, marketing, and communication skills. Gesina’s research interests include Northern Baroque, Byzantine, and Ancient Roman art. Her thesis explores the effects of colonialism, specifically, how religious art aided in the conversion of the native inhabitants of Mesoamerica. Gesina plans to continue her education by seeking a post-graduate degree, with hopes of continuing her studies on art created during colonialsim.
